Feature Enhancements

  • In Real ID and ID Recognition, the enhancements in product are as follows:
    • Add anti-counterfeiting algorithm to enhance the anti-counterfeiting capabilities.
    • Optimize anti-counterfeiting algorithm to enhance the anti-counterfeiting capabilities.
    • Optimize the quality algorithm and auto-classification algorithm to enhance quality algorithm capabilities.
    • Optimize passport quality algorithm to enhance its pass rate.
    • Optimize the DATE_OF_PERMITTED_STAY and NUMBER fields for HK Entry Permit (docType=08520000008) in OCR algorithm to improve recognition accuracy.
    • Optimize the MIDDLE_NAME field recognition for Philippines National ID (docType=00630000033) in OCR algorithm.
    • Optimize the MIDDLE_NAME field recognition for Philippines Driving License (docType=00630000004) in OCR algorithm to improve OCR recognition accuracy.
    • Optimize the MIDDLE_NAME field recognition for Philippine PhilSys ID (docType=00630000034) in OCR algorithm to improve OCR recognition accuracy.
    • Optimize the OCR algorithm for HK Entry Permit (docType=08520000008), Macau Entry Permit (docType=08530000004), and Philippines Driving License (docType=00630000004) to improve OCR recognition accuracy.
    • Optimize the field logic of DATE_OF_EXPIRE in China Macau ID card (docType=08530000001) to output the fields as-is according to the document.
    • Add document scanning confirmation page in Real ID.
    • OCR bank card recognition now supports new format templates for Chinese mainland bank cards.
    • Add new document rule configuration: This configuration checks if the field information returned by OCR is empty. If empty, it prompts the user to retry. Clients may submit a request to enable this configuration.
    • Add a new field faceQualityPassed in extFaceInfo response for Real ID checkresult API.
    • Support configuration to retain or delete IDN features extracted from original face images (the configuration applies synchronously to both Portal and delete API privacy deletion after setup) in portal when Real ID deletes the privacy. After enabling this setting, the privacy-deleted data still supports partial IDN risk queries.
    • Add a new input parameter deleteIdnImg in Real ID to control whether the original facial image is deleted during Advanced IDN storage, while retaining the IDN features extracted from the original facial image to support related IDN risk queries.
    • Fix the issue in Oppo Browser: Unresponsive interface clicks when the document recognition pop-up does not appear during ID scanning.
    • Fix the UI display position mismatch issue on HarmonyOS foldable screens during face scanning.
    • Add support for Swedish ID card and Austrian ID card. For details, please refer to the following document: Document types supported and OCR results returned | API Reference.
  • In Portal, the enhancements in product are as follows:
    • Add Advanced IDN hit risk details for the CaseSearch details page in Real ID product.
    • Portal account-account setting adds Window Session Timeout Limit to adjust the maximum session duration for the portal window.
    • Add RealDoc Demo in Portal experience center.
  • In Depper, the enhancement in product is as follows:
    • Optimize the algorithm for 4K ultra HD screens to improve algorithm pass rates across multiple devices.
  • In Face Capture, Connect, and Real ID, the enhancements in product are as follows:
    • For initialize API of Face Capture, Connect, and Real ID, add colorFlash color-based liveness toggle for the productConfig input parameter. It supports passing values Y or N to control the activation/deactivation of the color-based liveness detection process. Currently supports only Android & iOS, not HarmonyOS.
    • Improve camera permission approval rate for Face Capture and Connect products on H5 platforms.
  • In Face Capture, IDN, and Real ID, the enhancement in product is as follows:
    • Add output parameters sourceTransactionId and sourceProductType to indicate the entry source of items associated with the current transaction in a risk context. Additionally, the IDN get API now displays the entry source for queried itemid.

Native SDK version released

  • Add color-based liveness detection for Android & iOS.
  • Fix UI compatibility issues on foldable screens for HarmonyOS.
  • Security enhancement.
