Feature Enhancements

  • In Real ID and ID Recognition, the enhancements in algorithm capabilities are as follows:
    • In March, we expect to add support for new document capabilities, covering Australian driver's licenses, Israeli driver's licenses, and more. For details, please refer to the following document (expected update in late March): Document types supported and OCR results returned | API Reference
    • The OCR algorithm now supports the new format of Brazilian identity cards, enhancing algorithm capabilities.
    • Optimized the OCR algorithm for generic passport MRZ fields and fixed several issues.
    • Optimized the OCR recognition for Hong Kong business licenses and fixed issues related to the BR field.
    • Optimized the processing time for the passport visual inspection zone to enhance user experience.
    • Added support for classification algorithms for two formats of the Philippine digital ID, enhancing algorithm capabilities.
    • Added validation for the cropDocImage field in the Real ID initialization interface /api/v1/zoloz/realid/initialize.
    • Optimized the name splitting logic for Philippine driver's licenses.
    • Enhanced the anti-counterfeiting capabilities of the Philippine digital ID to improve its resistance to attacks.
    • Added field verification logic for MyKad documents to enhance anti-counterfeiting capabilities.
    • Added classification algorithm support for Nigerian ID cards to enhance classification capabilities.
    • Optimized the quality anti-counterfeiting algorithm to improve the recognition ability of card holders and high-fidelity counterfeit documents.
    • Added tampering detection algorithm support for the new version of the Philippine TIN.
  • In Real ID, Face Capture, Face Compare, Connect, and DemoAPP, updated the facial recognition algorithm model.

Upgrade Announcement

  • Upgrade Time: April 16, 2025, 1:00 AM - 3:00 AM (Beijing Time)
  • Upgrade Content: To ensure service stability and enhance security, ZOLOZ will upgrade relevant components of the infrastructure at the Hong Kong node.
  • Impact of Upgrade: During the upgrade, there may be intermittent service unavailability for up to 5 seconds. The primary symptoms include receiving 503 errors or timeouts when calling API interfaces.
  • Recommended Actions: We advise against scheduling any promotional activities or high-traffic events during the upgrade period. If you encounter similar issues, please wait for 1 minute before retrying.
