In order to align with product development principles and focus resources on providing you with a better product experience, we have decided, based on long-term user data analysis and feedback, to discontinue maintenance for the "Trace-scan". This notice is hereby issued for your information.

Change Time

Effective November 30, 2025, ZOLOZ will discontinue maintenance for the "Trace-scan".

Change Scope

Product: Real ID & ID Recognition

Capture modes: Trace-scan (docUiType=4)

Change Details

After this upgrade, we will discontinue maintenance for the existing "Trace-scan" document capture mode.

If your business is currently using this mode, we recommend adjusting your implementation to ensure service continuity and enhance user experience.

• For scenarios prioritizing pass-through rates: Switch to the Self-capture mode.
• For scenarios prioritizing user experience: Switch to the Auto-scan mode.

Relevant APIs: Real ID-initialize and ID recognition-initialize.

Change Impact

ZOLOZ will discontinue maintenance for the "Trace-scan", but existing API keys will remain functional without compatibility issues.
