Announcement on Optimizing System Quality Error Message Pop-ups

Change Background:

ZOLOZ has recently received customer feedback indicating that the current system's error message pop-ups are too generic and do not provide users with effective operational guidance. In response, the ZOLOZ team has swiftly investigated the issue and developed an optimization plan. We aim to enhance the error message pop-ups related to quality issues by detailing them and providing specific reasons for interception through API responses. This initiative is intended to offer users clear and precise guidance, thereby improving their experience and satisfaction during use.

Change Time:

The changes began on May 19, 2025, and are expected to be completed by June 30, 2025.

Change Scope:

Real ID & ID Recognition

Change Details:

  1. Pop-up Optimization
    • Refine error message pop-ups for quality algorithm detection results (such as obstructions and reflections) to provide more precise guidance, aiding users in quickly adjusting their actions.
  1. Portal-UI Configuration Upgrade
    • Add support for customizing the text of the optimized error message pop-ups to meet the personalized needs of different business scenarios.
  1. API Interface (checkResult) Optimization
    • Add the return of error reasons in Real ID - docErrorDescription and ID Recognition - recognitionErrorDescription to make it easier to locate and troubleshoot problems when an exception occurs.

Change Note:

To ensure the optimized features take effect correctly, customers need to complete the following actions:

  1. Upgrade SDK: Proactively update to the latest version to support the refined error messaging functionality.
  2. Update Portal-UI Configuration File:
    1. Import Configuration: Import the historical UI Configuration file into the portal.
    2. Edit and save the newly added error message text content.
    3. Export the modified configuration as a zip package.
    4. Re-import it into the client's system.

Change Impact:

If the above upgrades and configurations are not completed, the system will continue to use the original error message mechanism, and the optimized features will not be available. It is recommended to synchronize updates promptly to enhance the user experience.
