Notification on Standardizing OCR Output Field Formats - December 23 2024

This document introduces the future standardized format for OCR output fields, covering date, address, and name fields. Other fields will remain consistent with the information on the document without additional processing.

Upgrade window: Due to historical reasons, the current OCR output field formats lack a unified standard, leading to a poor user experience. Therefore, ZOLOZ plans to standardize the OCR output field formats in December 2024 to enhance the user experience.

Upgrade Impact: If the format of the OCR output fields changes before this change, ZOLOZ will add new OCR output fields to address it; for the already output OCR fields, their field names and output formats will remain unchanged, ensuring no compatibility issues.

Upgrade Time: This upgrade will be completed on January 27, 2025, Beijing time.

Upgrade Content: The following are the details of this change and the future standardized format for OCR output fields by ZOLOZ.

• Date Field: The output format will be unified to yyyy/mm/dd, for example, 2024/12/10.
• Address Field: The address will be combined into a single field for output, no longer split.
• Name Field: When outputting in multiple fields, symbols in the middle of the name will be removed; if outputting in a single field, it will be output as-is without any changes.
• Other Fields: These will remain consistent with the information on the document without additional processing.

Notes to Client: ZOLOZ will notify the details of the change through Release Notes in advance. Additionally, if you wish to further process or customize the content output by ZOLOZ, you will need to handle this on your own as ZOLOZ will no longer provide such customization services in the future.
